Ingredients
- Ice
- 1 tsp (5 ml) FnA Beverage Coconut Soda Syrup
- 1 tsp (5 ml) FnA Beverage Vanilla Soda Syrup
- 2 tsp (10 ml) Raspberry Purée
- 12 oz Dr Pepper
- 1½ tsp (7.5 ml) Heavy Cream
Instructions
- Fill a glass with ice.
- Add coconut syrup, vanilla syrup and raspberry purée.
- Pour in Dr Pepper.
- Stir until the flavors are evenly combined.
- Slowly pour the heavy cream over the top.
- Do not stir the cream. Allow it to naturally ribbon through the soda.
💡Pro Tip
Use a good raspberry purée rather than raspberry syrup here. The thicker fruit texture gives this drink much more depth against the Dr Pepper.
Why You'll Love It
Bellingham Bay™ combines one of Dr Pepper's best flavor partners—raspberry—with soft vanilla and coconut. The raspberry brings a bright fruit note while vanilla rounds off some of Dr Pepper's sharper spice characteristics.
Heavy cream changes the finish completely. As it slowly works its way through the soda, each sip becomes progressively smoother and richer while still retaining the raspberry-forward character that makes the drink stand out.
🇺🇸America Spotlight🇺🇸
Northwest Washington has developed a remarkable identity around raspberries. Nearby Lynden celebrates that heritage with the annual Northwest Raspberry Festival, a summer tradition centered on the berry-growing culture of Whatcom County.
Bellingham Bay gives this recipe a broader Pacific Northwest identity while keeping it rooted in Washington raspberry country. The combination of dark Dr Pepper, bright raspberry and soft cream feels right at home in a Field Guide built around the flavors and agricultural traditions of America.
